Don M. Stichter

Don was a longtime friend to Bay Area Legal. He was a past member of our Volunteer Leadership, serving on the Development Council for more than 15 years. Pro bono was always a passion of his, as he was an avid supporter through our Volunteer Lawyers Program. Don led by example and touched the hearts and lives of many in the process. In 2019, following Don’s passing, close family and friends came together to establish the Don M. Stichter Endowment, raising more than $230K. The Endowment supports the Don M. Stichter Fellow, a position at Bay Area Legal that preserves homeownership for low-income and marginalized seniors. Learn more.
