Honorable Michael G. Williamson
Judge Williamson spent more than twenty years in private practice before being appointed as a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Middle District of Florida on March 1, 2000. For more than two decades, Judge Williamson was a brilliant writer and thinker with a keen sense of humor, serving the Middle District of Florida with honor and distinction, including as its Chief Judge from 2015 to 2019.
In addition to serving in Florida, Judge Williamson consulted with and coached the judiciary in other countries on the principles of bankruptcy law.
